About the event
This is our 3rd year of having a quilt exhibition in our studio during the Daffodil and Arts Festival. Each year we endeavour to exhibit an artist that has a different genre and talent from previous exhibitors. Each exhibitor is of high standard and a master in their field.
The guest quilt maker this year is Eileen Campbell, from Melbourne. Her quilt "Pelican Twilight" won Best of the World at the World Quilt and Textile Competition in 2002, held in America. Eileen created The Lizzie Quilt for the Paralympic Games, Sydney 2000. We will have a range of her quilts on display, and we will be demonstrating the Gammill quilting machines.
We will be open 10 am until 4pm every day of the festival except Sunday 7th and 14th. Gold coin donation would be appreciated.
