Join in the Kyneton Daffodil & arts Festival Art Prize in 2025
The Kyneton Daffodil Art Prize is open to artists working across a range of styles and mediums. All entries are displayed as part of the Visual and Photography Art Exhibition at The Old Auction House during the festival.
There are $250 prizes awarded in each category, and one $1,000 prize for the overall winner, awarded to a work that includes a daffodil. You don’t need to include a daffodil to be eligible for the category prizes, but any work that does will automatically go in the running for the overall prize.
Winners are announced at the Festival Opening on Friday, 5 September.


WHO CAN ENTER?
Entry is open to all Australian Artists aged 16+ and works can be both 2D or 3D with a maximum of four pieces per artist.
The festival is so fortunate to have had Ken Rose sponsor the Esther Rose Memorial Watercolour Prize for many years in celebration of his lovely wife, who was a talented watercolour artist.
The Prize Categories are Esther Rose Watercolour, Oil Painting, Acrylic Painting, Works on Paper, Photography, and Other Medium / Sculpture, each piece can be entered into one category.

THE EXHIBITION
The annual Art Prize is hosted by The Old Auction House, 52-56 Mollison Street, Kyneton, and runs throughout the Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival.
In 2025, the exhibition will be open daily from Friday, 5 September to Monday, 15 September, 10am to 4pm.
Prize winners will be announced at the Festival Opening, held at The Old Auction House on Friday, 5 September from 7:30pm. All entrants are warmly invited to attend the opening event.
