Discover the captivating sculptures of Anton Hasell at the Trio Art Studio & Gallery in Kyneton. From September 3rd to September 10th, indulge in an exquisite exhibition showcasing the masterpieces of this esteemed artist.

Anton Hasell, a professional artist residing in Central Victoria, has left an indelible mark on public spaces across Melbourne and Australia. Notable works include the iconic ‘Federation Bells Carillon’ in Birrarung Marr Park and the ingenuity of crafting and tuning the 10 difference-tone bells for the prestigious Longnow Foundation’s 10,000-Year Clock project in the USA.

At the heart of Anton’s artistic practice lies a passion for computer-based design of musical bells, a fascination that stems from his involvement in the visionary 10,000-Year Clock project. Recently, Anton has embarked on an exploration of mechanical clock and bell sculptures, delving into the realms of paradoxical philosophies. The exhibition offers a glimpse into this profound journey, centered around the critical theme of climate change.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is the enchanting “Climate Alarm,” a small verge clock with a bell that rings on the hour. Crafted from stainless steel and bronze, this intricate piece measures 30cm in height, 20cm in length, and 15cm in width, radiating both elegance and significance.

Mark your calendars and visit Trio Art Studio & Gallery to experience the artistic brilliance of Anton Hasell. The exhibition will remain open for the public’s enjoyment on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays until October 2nd. Don’t miss the chance to witness the ingenuity and creativity of this remarkable artist as he explores the confluence of art, mechanics, and the pressing reality of climate change.
